After having seen SD DVDs displayed on numerous HiDef displays looking well
crap!!! and seeing SD DVDs scaled using a propper doggiies danglers
scaler (Lumagen) in HiDef got me wondering if there were any offline line
software scaling solutions. ie put you DVD into your PC, it rips it to hard
disk, then spends however long (days ??) scaling it to 720p/1080i/1080p etc
(maybe saving it as a HiDef DiVx etc) for display on your video card that
has HDMI output ?
