Does anyone have direct experience with the Liteon 5001B that
Currys are currently advertising for Ł149? The web has the usual
mixture of good & bad reviews, but many more good than bad.

One big question, the 5001B (emphasis on the B) is the European
model and as such has SCART sockets, but the manuals and
reviews that I could find are unclear as to whether the SCARTs
are wired for true RGB in and out. Does anyone know?

For this price it looks tempting if it has true RGB capabilities.
