Well ordered my new sub MJ acoustics Ref 1, actually chrimbo present from my
Fiance
Demod a few Rels 201, 400 and I gotta say I thought this was the best outa
all of em.
Gotta say for the money this is a nice bit of kit, cant wait till I get
it....roll on Friday ( ish).

The MJ Acoustic Ref 1 is very similar to a Rel Storm, which I own. If its
similar in performance I would be careful with sub 25hz bass, especially
with loud sound pressure levels- for a home theatre subwoofer.

Rel Storm is fine for 95% of material, and great for music- but struggles
with heavy mixed DVDs (Toy Story 2, Titan AE) etc. Try these out (Toy Story
2 intro) if it chuffs and parps over the place I would be a bit worried.

I upgraded from the Storm to a SVS 20-39 PC Plus. Im (afraid) its
astromically better than the Rel.

Apart from that I hope youll be happy with it.
